Watch the Royal Marines arrive by sea and join them in retracing 47 Commando’s 20km D-Day route behind enemy lines.
Hear the story of their epic mission to liberate Port-en-Bessin as well as the courageous actions of the French citizens who helped them. You don’t need to be a commando to take part!
We walk slowly and take breaks on the way including a picnic (bring your own) at the beautiful Abbaye Sainte-Marie de Longues.
Everyone is welcome. You don't need to be a Commando to take part!
