Researching your
Royal Marines 
Ancestors

I’ am often asked  about researching individual Royal Marines, and I am happy to help where I can, however I always suggest gathering as much information first through the various archive services available, 

For example the  National Archives in
Kew  have searchable  and holds 110,000 men who joined the Royal Marines between 1842 and 1925, and records after this date are available via MOD for relatives.
