I have his Form R141 Company Record Book and his Certificate of Service but they only list his dates and which Commando units he belonged to. The medals office have no other records and have asked if he can provide any further proof. I thought that if I could tie in his dates and Commando Units with their locations from historical data it may help. He served in Aden, Singapore and Malaya between 1962 and 1968 with 41, 42, 43 and 45 Commando. If anyone has any advice or information I would appreciate it as he is now into his 80s and is so proud to have been part or this elite unit.
